When the first elders were commissioned in January 2005, the church approved the process that all future elders will be recommended by the elder body. Therefore, the elders will serve as the Pastor Search Committee for our next “pastor/elder of elders” and do all the initial screening, before presenting any potential candidate to the rest of the leadership teams: Sunday school teachers, ministry leaders, and ultimately to you as the congregation for review and approval.
